Since September 2023, Gaétan is a PhD student in AGES team at CAGT laboratory. He obtained his master’s degree in plant biology from Paul Sabatier university in 2020 and started working in the team the following year as assistant ingeneer. His work as PhD student will focus on horse population during late Bronze age and Iron age in Mongolia and China. Using technical and bioinformatics resources, Gaetan will study horse genetic diversity but also threw this, human breeding and burrial practices in order to understand the impact of horses in human societies. This project is promoted by ERC research program « Horse power » and Paul sabatier university of Toulouse.
