Biosketch

I am a Ph D student working in the IDEA group and for the ATLAS project (AnaTomicaL shApeS: Transfering knowledge in computational anatomy to study early human evolution in Africa). I acquired my master’s degree in Integrative Anthropobiology in 2022 at the University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier after a bachelor of Biology of Organism Population and Ecosystem.

My research is based on the life history traits and the use of morphology and computational anatomy on mandibles. The data come from multiple CT scans of chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) and bonobos (Pan paniscus) infants mostly from the Musée Royal de L’Afrique Central (Tervuren – Belgium). The work will further include fossils such as Paranthropus, Australopithecus, and early Homo. Computational Anatomy will be the innovative part and will be in cooperation with the LIRMM laboratory (Montpellier – France) and the University of Chicago.
