AmbiPYR – DRIIHM/ANR

Ancient Molecular Biodiversity in high mountain lakes in Pyrenees

This projet represented a continuation of the DYVAH et FISH projects proposed by D. Galop. This project focused on the reconstruction of environmental dynamics and on the impact of past human societies on high mountain lakes. This project will complete the multi-proxy approach by exploring sedimentary ancient DNA to characterise past biodiversity in Pyrenean Lakes.

This work was (co)funded by the LabEx DRIIHM, French program « Investissements d’Avenir » (ANR-11-LABX-0010) which is managed by the ANR.
